After exhausting all medication and treatment options to find relief, she was left with doctors scratching their heads. Determined to get back to her life, Kristi decided in a last ditch effort to change her diet dramatically, despite much of her skepticism that food could do for her what no medicine had. The decision not only changed the way she felt physically but also transformed her perspective on the impact that food and lifestyle has on one’s mental, emotional and physical health.

Working to expand her knowledge, Kristi began studying nutrition at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  She’s studied under Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr Mark Hyman, Founder and Medical Director of the UltraWellness Center; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.  

​Determined to support and inspire others to take control of their health, eliminate unnecessary suffering and feel their best mentally, physically and emotionally,  Kristi created  Whole & Happy.

During her college career Kristi was in and out of emergency rooms and doctors’ offices being eventually diagnosed with a chronic pain disorder.

Kristi is a SoCal native residing in Los Angeles. While she may appear as a product of her environment (green smoothie drinking, farmers market-going, meditating, hippy chic) it was circumstance rather than location that lead her this way.
